What we are setting out to build in Vidyaranyapura: a vegetarian South Indian café that puts food first, keeps a good filter coffee close, and feels like the neighbourhood’s own.
Food leads. Everything else deepens it.
The central idea is simple. People come to a café to eat and drink well, so that is where Annara begins: vegetarian South Indian food rooted in Karnataka, and filter coffee made the way it is meant to be made.
Around that, we are making room for the things that turn a meal into a memory. Architecture and design that slow you down. Art that changes on the walls. Music played close. A community of neighbours, readers and makers who make the room feel alive.
None of it is meant to compete with the plate. It is there to deepen it, the way good company makes a simple meal taste better.

Annara begins with food and coffee: vegetarian South Indian cooking rooted in Karnataka, filter coffee made with care, and a room to enjoy them in. The menu, our address and our hours will be shared in full as we open.
